There will be a wide variety of pizzas to choose from at the dinner. The Vortex (Red sauce, mozzarella, salami, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, mushrooms, red and yellow bell peppers, red onions, black olives and homemade Italian sausage) and Hawaiian (Red sauce, mozzarella, Canadian bacon, fresh Roma tomatoes, pineapple and smoked mozzarella.) pizzas are the only two available to pre-order for $20 to take home.

Our annual fundraiser supports those with celiac sprue disease or gluten intolerance. The funds raised will be used to support our mission of assisting Southern Arizona residents and visitors with celiac disease and the associated condition, dermatitis herpetiformis (the most underdiagnosed genetic disease in the world, with approximately 1 in 133 people affected in the U.S.). Food for this event will be provided by Picazzos Gourmet Pizza and Salad, a restaurant founded in Sedona, with additional locations in Scottsdale and Tempe. Picazzos has a dedicated gluten-free pizza oven and prep area, along with a "regular" pizza facility. The pizza for this event will be GLUTEN FREE, and it is awesome! There will also be salad and desert available. Come and enjoy a fabulous meal.

Please join us. We would be extremely grateful if you could also make a donation to support our group.

The support group will not be sponsoring a walk for celiac disease research this year. You may contribute directly to the Center for Celiac Research at the University of Maryland through their online "Virtual Walk" at www.celiacwalk.org. To contribute to the virtual walk, select the "Sponsor a Participant" link (on the left in the "Visitors" section). and enter "Fasano" as the participant's last name and select "Alessio Fasano".
