Lynn Rae Reis, Author of What, No Wheat? and owner of Gluten Free Creations in Phoenix, sent GF baked goods for SACS to sell. She offered to allow SACS to keep any profits from the sale. Thanks, Lynn!
The featured speaker for the meeting was Bill Eyl, president-elect of CSA. Bill discussed the upcoming CSA Conference in September, as well as the role of CSA National in the life of the average celiac.
Sande Smith discussed her plans for future gluten free cooking classes, including the possibility of holding some in Tucson instead of at her home in Tubac. She also revealed that plans are in the works for a restaurant on the UA campus for special dietary needs, including gluten free food.
