Comments: Jul 5, 2015: I am not at all impressed with this restaurant. The only GF breakfast options are Huevos Rancheros, and a chicken and egg dish - not that good! Nice ambience, nice gift shop, but there are better breakfast spots. Jan 26, 2014: I have eaten breakfast at BW 4 times, always notifying my server that I must be GF. The first time was several years ago and I was very cautious, barely eating anything. No reaction. The next 3 times I just had eggs, rice and bacon, then eggs and bacon, then just bacon. All 3 times I had significant digestive reactions that lasted several days. Very sadly, have crossed this otherwise wonderful restaurant off my list. Sep 28, 2013: I found a gluten-free menu inserted in the regular menu and although the selections were limited compared to the regular menu there were several omelettes, a couple of salads and a stir-fry. Our server understood about gluten-free and was able to offer a few additional options for sides on the gluten-free entrees. Sep 14, 2013: This restaurant was recommended to us by an employee at Whole Foods who also ate GF so we checked it out. We were disappointed to say the least. It took over 20 minutes for a server to come to our table and when she did we had questions about GF possibilities other than salad and she struggled badly. She was trying to tell us their lasagna was GF but was getting it confused with Dairy free. "You can just make it without cheese and it'll be fine." hugh? We seemed like an inconvenience and just hated the experience so we left. For us, a GF menu needs to be more than just salads and if the staff waivers at all, then we're out. We will not give this restaurant a second chance. Jan 31, 2012: I had lunch using their gluten free menu on Thursday. That afternoon I started getting very sick, managed to get home OK from work and was sick the rest of the night. I won't go there again as this was very bad reaction. Jun 29, 2011: I have eaten at Blue Willow once since my celiac diagnosis. It was brunch time and had a fantastic omelet followed by THE most wonderful flourless chocolate torte I've ever had, made in-house. This place and ambiance, knowledgeable wait staff and fresh, amazing food. I had no problems. Will be back.
